I would rather not use the festival web site to buy my walk tickets. Can I do it another way?
Yes, please phone Kingsbridge Information Centre on tel: 01548 853195, or Dartmouth Visitor Centre on tel: 01803 834224, or Totnes Information Centre on tel: 01803 863168, or Salcombe Information Centre on tel: 01548 843927 (9am - 5.30pm). They do get very busy so if it’s possible for you to call before 10 am they would appreciate it. Staff will be happy to book your tickets through the festival site, please be ready with your choice of walks and a form of payment, ideally a card. You may need to have alternative choices in case your chosen walk(s) are already fully booked. Your ticket will then be posted to you and it will show all walks booked. It may be worth taking a copy of your ticket for safe keeping, some walks require you to display a copy on your dashboard to get a reduced parking tariff.
Is the festival site secure for card payments?
The site uses SSL technology as well as Paypal for the payment routing. You should see a closed padlock at the top of the payment screen confirming that the site is secure. Your card details are processed but not held by us or Paypal after the transaction.
Do any of the walks have sections that might cause vertigo?
Yes, particularly walks along the South West Coast path. Please let your guide know if you suffer from vertigo so that he/she can ascertain with you whether you will be able to cope with any difficult sections before the walk commences.
I want to change or cancel walk(s) I have already purchased. What do I do?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide refunds. The only exception to this is if we need to cancel a walk. In the unlikely event that this happens we will contact you to see if any other available walk will provide an acceptable alternative, if it won’t then we will provide a full refund for the cost of the walk itself.
Can I bring a dog on any of the festival walks?
Yes, many walks welcome well behaved dogs on a lead. Please see walk details. Not all walks are open to dogs, normally due to the wildlife or livestock in the area being passed through. Please respect our decisions and choose from the walks on offer.
