South Devon Walking Festival 2010 - 25th September - 3rd October

A big thank you to anyone who took part in or otherwise supported the South Devon Walking Festival 2009. We had another great festival and we know from your comments that you did too!

We hope you will join us in 2010 between the 25th of September and the 3rd of October when we will have another great programme lined up for you with routes through stunning coastal, esturine and rolling green countryside. It will be available here on the festival website in late May so check back with us then get booking your walks!

2010 also marks South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty's 50th Anniversary, see www.southdevonaonb.org.uk for further details.

Give yourself space to breath this Autumn in the clean South Devon air!

Why not download the 2009 programme (or use programme links above left) to see what was on offer and whet your appetite for 2010.

Want to continue enjoying and exploring the stunning South Devon countryside in between festivals?

Then try South Devon AONBs online walks from www.southdevonaonb.org.uk. We’ve got over 40 self guided trails to choose from, including some cycling and horse-riding routes. All trails have easy to follow instructions and a map. Give them a go!

The AONB also produce a programme of year round events with lots of walks and other events. The programme is available from many local outlets including Tourist Information Centres; full details are also available from the AONB website.

Let the bus or train take the strain. Travel green and use Travel Line to plan a journey by public transport to the start of your walks. First South Devon’s No.93 service connects with many of our walks.
